Starstorm's appearance was friendly yet brief, and Twistedfoot felt a little guilty when he saw that she had gifted him some herbs. The black and white tom continued to stay silent, while binding the sawgrass and the reed stem onto the injured apprentice's leg. How will I get her to tell the truth? Is there treachery amongst our own Clan? the medicine cat thought privately, but gave his head a rough shake and tried to convince himself. No, do not think of such nonsense. Everybody in ThunderClan is truely loyal to our code.
"Put the catmint or poppy seeds on the WindClan border by Sunhigh tomorrow!"
"I will do that by Sunhigh!" Twistedfoot bellowed back, before picking up the herbs that Starstorm had neatly and politely given to the ThunderClan medicine cat. "Blazepaw, can you walk? Try standing up and balancing your weight on your other legs. Otherwise, I may have to carry you back to camp." He said with gentle care, "You may have to delay your apprentice training for a small while until your leg becomes better. But I'm sure you'll make a full recovery."

Starstorm heard Twistedfoot's reply and grinned. "Thank you Twistedfoot" she murmered and then she entered her camp and plopped down into her den, it had been a long day.

Blazepaw winced as all of the medicine cats worked on her battered body but she was more concerned with swiftpaw. Would Twistedfoot catch on? What if Swiftpaw visted her in the medicine cat den while she was recovering? She looked at Rainpaw so that he wouldn't say anything and mouthed 'He'll kill me' so that Twistedfoot and Starstorm wouldn't be able to see.
"Blazepaw can you walk?"
Blazepaw look a slow deep breath and got her back paws onto the ground and tried to get up onto her other three paws so that she could try and hobbled back to Thunderclan's camp.

Mapleclaw watched carefully as Blazepaw carefully brought herself up and teetered on her other three paws, with her limbs shaking. The ThunderClan cat was watching Blazepaw's limbs so carefully that he did not notice that her lips moving in the shape of He'll kill me.
"Perhaps." The black and white medicine cat said in both a kind and dismissal tone. "I don't think you both tread over nettles and leap over stumps and roots with your legs shaking like that... we'll have to take the path back to camp with softer, flatter ground." The homely tom then stopped there, and glanced around his surroundings before continuing in the same calm and secure tone, "The easy path is not too far from here, and we should head off as soon as possible so your muscles do not buckle down from the coldness of the river's water in your fur."
The black and white tom nodded at Rainpaw. "Thank you very much for your help. If you hadn't found Blazepaw first... things may have not gone out as smoothly. Now, I think you should go back to camp before Shadowstar worries. ThunderClan will be in your debt."

"Thanks" She nodded to Rainpaw and Starstorm and nearly fell over. Blazepaw limped and kind of waddled along side of Mapleclaw wishing that they were closer to camp. As she 'walked' the small cuts on her side hurt but the most pain was still in her leg and near exhaustion she was enduring. She wobbled as she walked since it was hard for a cat to only stand on three legs, as one would assume.

Twistedfoot walked very closely beside the injured apprentice, pity stabbing his chest like little claws of nettle. They were still a little far off from ThunderClan's camp. The black and white tom started slowly, "If you're too tired, I can carry you back to ThunderClan on my back." The ThunderClan medicine cat himself only had 3 working feet, but he had gotten used to it after seasons. He noticed the sharp, irony smell of blood pierced through the still air, meaning that Blazepaw's cuts were not yet healed over. He started again in the same caring tone, "We can't have you leaving a trail of blood to camp."

Rosestem rushed from camp to where Blazepaw and Twistedfoot were. "i brought more cobwebs!" she mewed, "and, I have some Chamomile to add to her strength, and Lavender to calm her down!Oh! And honey because it's sweet because she might want something nice to eat."

When Rosestem came with a bunch of herbs Blazepaw just sat down. She waited for Twistedfoot to give her which ever ones the Thunderclan medicine cat thought she needed. Blazepaw didn't even care what it was she just wanted to get home and to feel better.

Tealfur padded along following the trail of the medicine cat she had been sent out to check up on the three legged tom cat but to her surprise she did not just find him but an apprentice as well ''What are you doing here?'' she inquired peering suspiciously at the apprentice then the blood ''Who attacked you?'' she peered at Mapleclaw then Twistedfoot then it drifted to Rosestem ''Anyone know what went on here?'' she scanned them breifly ''I have a kit at home too I deserve to know.''/ she said outloud peering at each of the cat ''Thunderstar will want to know about this [/center][/size] |

" I fell into the river" Blazepaw said weakly but sticking with her previous story. Should I tell Thunderstar? maybe he'll exile the stuid tom and let him fend for himself. Blazepaw liked the idea of Swiftpaw left on his own so that he couldn't hurt his clan anymore. But he'll still know where our cam is and come to kill me... She thought. "Let's get to camp then" She replied to Tealfur's statement about Thunderstar. He would also need to now her story of what happened today.

Blazepaw stood up and followed Tealfur toward camp. Still wobbly on three legs and stumbling every so often. You guys wont find anything except Thunderclan scent... She thought trying to keep her mind on walking and not what was now behind her.
