It was finally starting to warm up in the Thunderclan forest and everyone was getting ready to start bringing back more fresh kill. Blazepaw had gone on the morning patrol and hadn't wawnted to go to sleep after. So she kind of wandered around the camp wondering if she should go out into the forest herself. She had had very little training and didn't want to scare away all of the prey. finally she settled down to think near the entrance to the camp, Maybe someone will walk by and let me go out with them...

Swiftpaw feeling a need to finally get out of the camp on the first warm day of the year. Walking towards the Entrance not caring about anything. While walking towards the late gate he felt some strange force telling him to not go alone. Assuming it was just his imagination he continued on. Feeling anxious he suddenly saw Blazepaw. Hey Blazepaw wanna come see this cool thing? Please.  |

Blazepaw saw Swiftpaw , her only den mate, walking in the camp. well maybe he would go with me... Now I wont ask she thought. She looked down at her orange paws on the warm camp floor. "Hey Blazepaw wanna come see this cool thing? Please?" Blazepaw looked up. "Of course! Where are we going?" She asked ecstatically. She loved going out to explore and it was always better with a friend. |

Swiftpaw walked passed her yelling over his shoulder, "It's a surprise." Not waiting for her to catch up he continued to walk on. Occasionally smelling the air for the shadowclan border. Finally were here. Glancing back to see if Blazepaw managed to keep up. See that towering Oak just over there? It's hollow in the center and we can climb it for a secret hideout. Leaping over the border Swiftpaw walked to the tree. "See?"

Blazepaw bolted out of the camp entrance not even noticing the tugging from the thorns of the tunnel. She followed Swiftpaw at a fast pace for as long as she could but she got tired and slowed just enough to keep Swiftpaw in her view. What would be so cool about shadowclan? She wondered. Then She came up to Swiftpaw and sat down still panting a little. "The oak tree?! That's so cool. But wait... we aren't supposed to cross borders anymore, especially since the fight at the gathering. How have you been over there in the first place..." She said wondering what Swiftpaw did when he wasn't training to be a warrior.

"stop crying. How can that good for nothing Thunderstar tell us what to do anyways?" He is always to busy and to weak. Swiftpaw leaped on Blazepaw with a slightly aggressive attitude. "Are you coming? It'll be fun? Unless you are going to tell Thunderstar. You chooseing to come with me?" climbing off of Blazepaw Swiftpaw ran into the hole, and climbed the inside to the first branch up. Looking out to see if Blazepaw followed his lead.

Blazepaw was started but Swiftpaws sudden attack. She looked up at Swiftpaws concerned with fear rushing through her. Why would he attack a clan mate? She got up as soon as
Swiftpaw got off of her. "I don't know... I don't think I can Swiftpaws. What if shadowan catches us it Thunderstar does." Blazepaw was blown away buy his questions and even stepped back a few steps away from Swiftpaw. "I listen to him cause he our leader and it's the warrior code! Which is also why I won't cross that border! Why have you been crossing borders!" she was angry at him now seeing he may have been betraying thunderclan in some way. "maybe I will tell Thunderstar..." she mumbled in anger

Swiftpaw out of fear of Thunderstar leaped down on Blazepaw from the branch. "Blazepaw....you may be a clan-mate, but i cant let the happen. Thunderstar is of no importance. You have one last chance to come with me or I will have to kill you." Growling at Blazepaw Swiftpaw had a slight feeling of guilt. He put Blazepaw into a bad situation. Talking out loud to himself he growled, "No...Don't give in to Emotions, Emotions are for weaklings."

BLazepaw tried to wigle out from under Swiftpaw's weight." No i can't" She said. Maybe he could betray his clan but she wouldnt. " If emotions are worthlesss then i shouldnt feel compelled to follow you either." she hissed in anger. Inside she was terrefied and was going to fight Swiftpaw as much as she could.

Swiftpaw chuckled as Blazepaw tried to get out from under him. It's a worthless attempt. You let strength be overpowered by feelings. You must learn to let them go. "I can feel your heart beating faster as I am getting closer to killing you. Where is your starclan now? They don't seem to care that a loyal clan member is about to die. You truly are.......are......." Glancing over his shoulder Swiftpaw thought he heard something. "I have taken to long, any last words before you meet your precious kinsmen?"

Blazepaw breathes harder as adrenaline surged through her. "what is my strength and feelings want the same thing." quickly she tried to get her whole body out from under Swiftpaw with one big tug."Why would Starclan show up to see a Thunderclan cat kill another? You're not worthy of even seeing them and I doubt you believe in them so what would that solve if they came? I'm just one more death for a good cause then." On the inside Blazepaw was terrified of Swiftpaw killing her.

Swiftpaw hesitated as he listened. Feeling the tug Swiftpaw fell of. "One more death for a good cause? What cause would that be? Showing me as a killer? Your Humorous. You stand no chance with a fight with me. You would be better off running for your worthless life. It will be of no help. You will have to get across the river in order to get away. I'll even give you a head start." Turning around and leaping across the border for the second time Swiftpaw chuckled. "Pathetic excuse for a cat."
(Theres not thunder-path yet!!!!! I just re-read the rules and saw that the thunder-path isn't there yet.

Blazepaw looked, the river wasn't too far. If she could get over it she would have a good chance of getting away, which is all she cared about at the moment. She jumped up and ran towered the river hoping she would be able to clear it even with her shorter legs. As Blazepaw neared the river it started to ge wider and wider and she was worriedthat she wouldn't make it. It was her only option though since any second Swiftpaw could be running after her. She jumped knowing the second she left the ground that she wasn't going to make it and quickly her orange body fell right into the water, which was still cold from the melting snow in the mountains. She struggled to get afloat and put her head above water but the current was strong. She hit a few rocks, one possibly breaking her front left paw and others cutting her.

Swiftpaw watched as Blazepaw floated down stream. Walking to where her body had been laying he believed she had died. grabbing her by the cuff of the neck Swiftpaw drug her over shadowclans border. This should trick them. Making sure that she was pulled through dung laying on the ground to disguise his scent he continued. "They will never suspect me. Maybe this will even cause a fight in Thunderclan. It will be my perfect chance to kill Thunderstar."

Blazepaw felt Swiftpaw drag her limp away from the river. She wanted to fight, to run away but the river took every ounce of energy from her body so she layed limp, acctually passed out from almost drowning, in his jaws. In her mind she was aware of what was going on but couldn't do anything, almost scared that he would just kill her now. He wants to kill Thunderstar?! she thought as she fell into a deeper state of darkness.
