If you are elected as an admin or a moderator, there are some special rules that you must obey in order from keeping the site from being ruined. If the admins and the moderators don't follow rules and become tyrants, then the whole site will fail.
Obey all original rules: this includes both roleplay rules and general rules. Just because you are a higher rank than others, doesn't mean you can do whatever you want.
Do not hold grudges against your users: Look, just because some users may have a bad past, are really annoying, or don't like the same things you do, doesn't mean that they are any less of a person than you.
Do not delete any of your characters: You can't just make your characters poof away. I've seen mods and admins do it before, and it's very unfair towards users who have to wait a long time to get rid of their characters.
Do not give warnings to users or ban them for no good reason: You CANNOT ban/warn users for stupid things like pranks, being annoying, or existing. It's happened to me before, and trust me, it really sucks.
You aren't god: Don't be over controlling. Just because you have control over others, doesn't mean you can do whatever you want to do to them or to the site. Decisions are made via the whole staff, not just by one staff member.
Equality is power. If you do not obey these rules then you will be demoted from the rank of mod or admin... or worse.
