It was a fine day in WindClan, as it usually was. The stiff wind blew through the rippling ocean of grass, and burrows were abundant with plump rabbits. The gleaming sun poured gentle warmth down upon the backs of WindClanner's, and every night was cool and sweet with the soft chirps of crickets. Windstar crept out of the leader's den, with bits of moss clinging to her pelt. She leapt onto the HighRock with elegance, her soft fur turning light gray in the sunflower-yellow rays of the sun. "May all cats old enough to hunt their own prey, gather 'round the HighRock!" She yowled out loud, her voice echoing off the walls of the camp.

Nightshade listened to his leaders call and raced to Highrock to sit beside his leader. Scrambling, he managed to get up beside Windstar.
Starstorm was in the medicine den, organizing her store. When she heard Windstar's yowl, she strutted out of her den, and jumped elegantly up to sit on her leader's other side. Smiling, she looked down and wondered what her leader could be announcing.

Twindlekit gallently bounded out of the nursery with a smile on his face. He looked around, the queen was nodding for him to go. He smiled, she was busy. He padded out into the clearing and sat down where he could see Windstar within the crowd of taller cats. He sat up and smiled.

Windstar looked around, watching the camp below. She waited for a few moments, letting the Clan gather underneath heself. She noticed Twindlekit, with an excited grin on his face. Windstar sat down sullenly. Hurry up, she said to herself. When she decided it was time to continue, she rose up looking towards the sky. A new warrior was to be annouced. The breeze blew through the leader's fur, lifting her spirit. ''Twindlekit, step forward.''

Quailfoot watched eagerly as the young cat recieved her new name, from under the shade of an old shrub that wreathed her in a comfortingly musty perfume. Perhaps, I`ll be her mentor. The greyish-brown she-cat thought happily, feeling prickles of anticipation in her paws. Maybe then, her yellowish eyes gleamed a little bit too greedily. Poor apprentice, if they were chosen to be paired with the wild, dare-devilish warrior.

Twindlekit's eyes grew large with wonder as He padded to the front of the clan. He looked around him in awe, just full of excitement. "Ye..ye..yes Windstar?" he asked.

Shallowpelt sat near-by the silver and black tabby tom yawned still groggy from his nap. But he listened and watched well.

''Twindlekit, from day on, you will be known as Twindlepaw.'' She flicked her tail and looked around. Who would be his mentor? ''Shallowpelt, you have been a loyal and keen warrior. You will mentor Twindlepaw.'' ((Don't have time to post much.))

Shallowpelt blinked in astonishment then puffed out his chest in proudness as his amber pools fell on his new apprentice, he un-reclined getting back up on his legs and padding over to Twindlepaw. He touched noses with his apprentice then layed his head ontop of his shortly. Then sat next to him casting a glance at Quailfoot before embarassingly turning away from her gaze.
(don't feel bad, im rusty with ceremonies. I'll have to read up again)

Quailfoot frowned for a heartbeat, before forcing a small smile on her face. Well, there's always next time. She tried to reason with herself. It was as if a tiny, cold pebble decided to take nest in her stomach. "Twindlekit and Shallowpelt!" the grayish she-cat said out loud. "Congratulations!" |

(ooc: hey sorry i couldnt post...i was outta town >.< anyways. ill reply now0 Twindlepaw smiled and looked up at his mentor. He touched Shallowheart's nose and let his mentor rest his head on his own. He smiled, his eyes growing to a closer with peace. *Finally, an apprentice and out of the nursery for good!* he thought to himself with a slight laugh.
