Windstar sighed and crawled out of her den. She scolded herself. Get your act together! She put on a smile, though she truly felt sad and grumpy. Striding up to Nightshade, she growled, ''You have a job to do.''

((What job? Also, Eclipsekit HATES tom-cats... it's in his bio by Irispetal. Plus, Morningeyes was his mom.))

Nightshade was shaken" I do?.... Of course i do! What was it again?" he muttered to Windstar.

Windstar growled at Nightshade harshly. Her tail twitched impatiently. Another sigh escaped her lips.

''What do deputies do, Nightshade?! You've watched Morningeyes enough! How do you expect to be a good deputy if you don't know your job? Get your act together, young'un!'' The she-cat hissed with menace. She was more grumpy than usual.

Windstar shut her eyes. Her duty frustrated her enough, what with VenomClan. She was grieved about Morningeyes. She couldn't understand Nightshade, how he acted as if Morningeyes hadn't existed. She kept this to herself though.

''Sorry, kiddo. I'm very frustrated, that's all. VenomClan, rouges, WindClan...Morningeyes...'' She trailed off quietly. ''Didn't mean to be so harsh. Just go and get familiar with the Clan. You'll need the experience, even though you're already quite popular. Remember, these are the cats you'll be working with. Oh, and I need you to send out some patrols!''

Eclipsekit sighed. He would just have to live with it.

Nightshade replied quickly."Of course Windstar.. Lambspring, Flickerpaw, Powderfur and...Treepaw. We will lead a hunting patrol." he announced.
