Riverstar was sitting on tallrock deliberating. "That mentor will fit her perfectly!" he mewed quietly. Then he yowled, "All cat's old enough to catch their own prey gather beneath tallrock for a clan meeting!"

Iriskit was excited It was the day of her apprentice ceremony! She jumped to her feet at riverstar's yowl and bounded out of the Nursery.

"it has come to my attention irispaw has reached her sixth moon," Riversatr began, "And it is with great honour I make her an apprentice. Lilypad, you have shown loyalty to the clan and great battle skills, you will be the mentor to Irispaw. Iriskit, from this day on, until you recieve your warrior name, you will be known as Irispaw!"

Irsikit...NO, IrisPAW, bounded forward to touch noses with Lilypad.

Lagoonshine positively beamed with happiness. A sun couldn't be brighter than her feelings at this moment as she proudly yowled out, "Irispaw! Irispaw!"

[Banana King]

Lilypad stepped up to Irispaw with embarassment, not being told. All her hate and guilt faded as she knew she had to take care of this apprentice with all her might.

"I guess we each have a happy ending."

Irispaw giggled at her remark. "I guess we do." she replied

Lilypad sat down and waited for the showers of appreciation to be over.

After cheering loudly, Swanfeather let out a sigh of relief. Finally, Lilypad had no reason to dislike her, and be spiteful towards other apprentices. Perhaps they could be peaceful amongst each other, and maybe even become close friends. A warm breeze that breathed by reflected the white she-cat's state of mind.

Lilypad was happy she had someone she could get close to. Ever since Stormcreek died, she had been blaming it on everyone around her.

Irispaw grinned at Lilypad and whispered, "I can't wait!"

Cinderpaw came up to congradulate the new apprentice "congrats Irispaw!" She said and she ran over to her new den mate and sat next to her mentor, Lagoonshine.
