Lilypad sat there, thinking of how she had healthy kits. She wanted one of her kits as her apprentice, but Riverstar would hate that. He'd think she was going to go easy on the kit.

Swanfeather leapt through RiverClan's entrance with a fish hanging from her jaws, and saw that Lilypad was looking a little downcast. That serves her! Because...because... the white she-cat could not think of a legitimate reason to wish Lilypad anything wrong. Swanfeather sighed inwardly, but she still thought privately, Could not all the honey and wildflowers in the forest sweeten Lilypad's temper?
"Hello," she tried to use a friendly tone, but Swanfeather ended up applying a strange mixture of shyness and wariness towards her fellow Clanmate. She tried again, now succeeding in an amiable voice, "Is there something wrong?"'[/size]

Lilypad snapped from her trance, snapping at Swanfeather,
"Why don't you just take your stupid fish and go feed your apprentice. Its not like VenomClan will get him!"
Lilypad turned her head and shed a tear as she remembered Stormcreek again.

Iriskit crept out of the nursery. She liked Lilypad, no matter what anyone said and would like to have a mentor just like her.

Lilypad meowed as she licked Iriskit on the head.
