Skystar was happy. she was about to give a worthy cat a mentor! She smirked and jumped up on to a ledge just above camp. " All the cats in SkyClan older or aged six moons gather around!" she yowled. "Dawnpaw will be so happy," she thought " and her mentor will be happy to
DAWNPAW:
Dawnkit heard Skystar meow and knew at once what was happening. " I hope i don't get a mouse-brained mentor!" she thought and trotted out of the nursery, he pelt glossy and her eyes shining.

 BADGERRAIN

The sound of a meeting woke Badgerrain from his slumber; he had been up all night on patrol. Of course, he seemed to always be on patrol. To the black and white tom; patrols and hunting parties were the closet thing to fun he could reach. This is what caused him to rank so highly in the eyes of his peers. Then again; if he had any social skills what so every- maybe he would even rank higher.The tom stretched his legs and let out a loud growl of a young; before padding into the clearing.
Hot sun melted onto the back of the deputy; filling up to chilled tom with warmth. It had been a long leafbare; filled with blood and death. Yet already to warmth of the sun was evaporating the chill of leafbare, leaving behind beautiful spring landscape.
Badgerrain flicked his tail at his peers; which was quite usually for the male. Being the antisocial deputy that he was, he was more often scolding them then sending them a friendly greeting. The tom sat down on the warm grass and licked his pelt clean of the moss which he had gathered in his sleep.

SKYSTAR: Skystar surveyed the crowd and saw Badgerrain among them, she cleared her thrat and meowed again. It has com to my attention that Dawnkit has reached her sixth moon. I have chosen an honourable warrior to mentor her." She looked at all the cats reactions and saw they were eager to listen. "Badgerrain, you have been a noble warrior and a fair deputy, I hope you can pass on your good traits to Dawnkit. Dawnkit, until the day you recieve your warrior name, you will be known as Dawnpaw!" DAWNPAW: Newly named Dawnpaw glowed with pride as she steeped forward to touch noses with her mentor, " I can't wait for training to begin!' she meowed to Badgerrain. Attachments:

BADGERRAIN

Badgerrain's heart skipped a beat; he hadn't yet had an apprentice of his own yet. Seeing that the clans had only just started; the multicolored tom was just getting use to living amongst so many others. The male got up and padded close to the female; he bent down to touch his scared nose against the soft-fresh nose of Dawnpaw.
The she-cat reminded the tom very much of his own daughter; who was only a tiny kitten when she was killed during the great battle at fourtrees. The soft scent of the nursery lulled the tom into a scenes of wonderment as memories flooded over him.
Dawnpaw's question pulled the male out of his dream world; " As soon as you feel you are ready; we can begin" he said simply; he deep thundering voice contrasting the female's soft one.

Dawnpaw purred, " How about we start now?" she flicked her tail and sat down matching her mentors eager expression. " I do nned to start learning sometime, why not now?" Then, she ran to the nearest ledge and waited just beneath it, implying for him to respond. Attachments:

"Dawnpaw! Dawnpaw!" Ivyshine yowled happily, whilst keeping her beryl gaze rested upon the handsome black-and-white deputy. The torti she-cat also hadn't ever gotten an apprentice before, but it didn't bother her. She was too busy stalking her crushes, whether interclan or not. To Badgerrain the fanatic she-cat called out sweetly, "I know you'll make a perfect mentor!" She would have definatly wanted to be in Dawnpaw's spot!
(Ivyshine is a stalker to a bunch of different toms XD)

Badgerrain felt an accumulation of love fill his bones; Dawnpaw was his now, a blank slate, and the black and white tom would do what he could to make her to greatest warrior in history. Of course, Badgerrain being who he was- he was unable to express his excitement is anything but a bossy behavior. " You're far to eager... " he growled, though his eyes shined with a since of humor, " You must always keep me in sight when ever we leave the camp; which means that you will never get in front of me- understood?" he growled, flicking his tail over the apprentice's shoulder.
The deputy glanced back at Ivyshine, the warrior who had fainted at recent battle at fourtrees. Naive to the sweetness in the female's voice; the tom simply nodded. A long time ago, Badgerrain had a mate and kits of his own. Or course that was before the clans had formed, they had all died in the great battle; and now were apart of Starclan watching over him.

Dawnpaw was suprised at his command, but realized quickly that there was humour in his harsh meow and she responded in her soft as silk mew," Of course Badgerrain,that makes perfect sense!"
