The Snakerocks, as Songbird found, were comfortingly warm during the short days of greenleaf. The adders that usually hissed and poked about retreated out of their burrows and basked in the pools of warm sunlight. They were lazy, and so did not bother the VenomClan cats. Songbird was presently laid across a flat rock, with three of her (unroleplayed) kits happily leaping from rock to rock. Judy accidentally trodden on a tail of an adder's tail. and let out a high shriek. To her surprise, the snake did nothing. It was enjoying itself too much. Judy grinned, and ran off to tell Dodger and Sylvia. |

Blackheart prowled the shadows his black and white features melting into the backround he froze at the screech his paw raised above the ground while his golden hues were round and wild as he hissed with his auds flattened against his head before padding over there to kill the naive adder.

Tito prowled about through the shadows. His ears perked up when he heard a screech. He stalked his way over to the direction of the sound. The VenomClan apprentice chuckled as he saw Blackheart's paw. You deserved it, he thought.
He made his way to the Snakerocks. Tito puffed up, scenting the foul stench of adder. The young tom made his way from the shadows. Adders everywhere, basking in the warm sunlight. To Tito it was incredibly stupid for a cat to be here at the time. looking up, he could see the shape of his mother.

Branchkit |
Branchkit yawned as he walked around the Snakerocks. Seeing the snakes nearby, he warily watched them. The snakes didn't do much, however; they were mainly still. More confident now, Branchkit began to explore around the Snakerocks, moving away whenever he was close to an adder.

Songbird watched her kits carefully, although the worst that could have happened at this very second was a broken paw from falling into a crack. Judy watched in admiration as Blackheart approached the adder, about to kill it. |

Benet-Ramsey padded out from her lodgement, into the beating sun. Her little den, although surrounded by boulders, were hot by the day. Her nearly black eyes shivered at the sight of the basking adders - so unafraid! As though they believed that they owned the place. In a moment of fury, the thick-furred she-cat leaped onto the nearest snake and pierced her teeth through it's tough skin. |

Dusk sat in his den, made of stone just inside the forest. He was watching his clanmates bask in the sun like adders. Dusk cocked his head when he saw Benet kill an adder for no reason. Prey was plentiful in Greenleaf and it looked like she killed it out of anger, not for need. Looks like she broke the Warrior Code. As if we need it though. The "Code" is just so those weak clan cats can feel safe. What happens if we break the code? Nothing. Stupid Clan cats. he thought bitterly. Rising to his feet, Dusk walked into camp and sat down on a sun warmed rock. Then he heard a hiss and glanced at the adder that had made it. Dusk ut his paws on top of the adder and unsheathed his claws. It was dead. Setting the snake down again, Dusk took a bite of it and lay down. "Good morning isn't it? Greenleaf is one of the best seasons. It's when the clans don't expect anything bad to happen." Dusk told everyone in the clearing. "One of the best."

Venomstar glared at the past clan cats that had joined VenomClan. He despised clan cats and hated the way he slaved under their warrior code. His tail flickered.
