Nightkit crept softly out of the nursery, careful not to wake her denmates and snuck to the Venomclan border. There, her father,Dusk was waiting for her. " Shadowstar isn't expecting anything to happen to her!" she mewed sweetly, " I'll even help in the assasination but I need to become an apprentice before she dies." Dusk 's rough meow caught her off guard," Of course Nightkit, and you can help... but i need you to go back to camp and hurry because i can scent a ShadowClan warrior and they can't hear us or scent us yet." Nightkit nodded once and sprang towards camp and Dusk ran to SkyClan to vist a cat and bring some unexpected news. " Dawnpaw..." he thought, " Sister, it's time you meet me. ( Dusk is Dawnpaw's half brother.. but dawnpaw doesn't know about him, he only knows about her because he got told by his father in his dying breaths.)

Pantherclaw was along VenomClan's border on a late night border patrol, sitting on a cold rock. His amber eyes narrowed into slits as he watched a little black kit follow after Dusk, his Clanmate, towards the SkyClan border. The brown tabby tom asked roughly, "What's that little runt doing with you, you know that may be dangerous. Those weak enemy Clans are just dying for an excuse to kidnap any of our members."

Dusk paused at Pantherclaw's words than hissed menacingly. "I'll have you know she's my kit! And after she gets to be an apprentice she'll secretly join me in venomClan and then rule ShadowClan after she and I KILL Shadowstar.' Then he hissed and ran twards the SkyClan border even faster leavind Pantherclaw standing alone.

Pantherclaw growled as Dusk spoke, the black tom's hate for his own Clanmate rising like boiling water. The amber-eyed tom shouted after them as they ran away, "You'd be a fool to send your own kit into a battle!" but he knew that they would be too far away now. With a last growl, Pantherclaw stood up abruptly and sulked back to VenomClan camp.
