{Now we can role play together (:}It looked as though there could be a slight afternoon drizzle in a just a little while, and so Sunpelt was taking advantage of her free moment took scout the border closest to SkyClan's territory. They had all kinds of shrooms and marigold for ointments, scattered near trees, and so close to the border was a good place to look for a few strays. Of course, she spent a few seconds testing the air with the roof of her mouth, hoping that no SkyClan patrols would be nearby. She may be a medicine cat of ThunderClan, but she knew better than to abuse her powers of "diplomatic immunity." She was also alone and stood no chance against a threesome of fresh warriors.
Fortunately, however, the coast seemed to be clear and so the calico she-cat crept out from under the undergrowth of her territory, her pawsteps delicate.
Her deep green eyes began to scan through the grass and the bushes for the familiar sight of bundled flowers. She was especially low on marigold, which was one of the most common necessities of a medicine cat's supplies. Between she and Twistedfoot, the two used up large amounts every couple of sunrises.
As she treaded ground her mind started to drift momentarily. There was a hint of sunshine rays striking down on her back, warming her skin and causing a small purr to rumble in her chest. It was then that she spotted a large stalk of chamomile and her spirits rose further. She bounded blindly through the grass, grasping the stems between her teeth and plucking them clean. The strong, sour scent of the plant drowned out most other scents, and without realizing it, she began to wander forward, stepping directly onto the SkyClan-ThunderClan border.

BADGERRAIN deputy of Skyclan
Amber orbs watched as soft gray clouds curled across the whispering blue sky, dusting the perfect slate of blue with the promise of rain. The two orbs briskly examined the sky with a disapproving look; one that usually would stop two playful apprentices in their tracks. " It's going to rain " a loud meowed lashed out; breaking the beautiful sounds of the silence. The eyes sliced across the horizon and focused onto the tree infested territory of Skyclan. This beautiful afternoon would be the perfect time for an enemy to steal prey. With the sight of the graying sky; the cats of Skyclan would be ducking for covers. Leaving the boarders free of guard, welcoming visitors to feast on the bounties of Skyclan's territory
Badgerrain snarled; his body becoming stiff and ears flicking back. The tom couldn't help but be paranoid; it had nearly been a month since the clans and formed, and the male wasn't quite use to set territories between all five of the clans. Badgerrain glared back at the sky; cursing the drizzle that was sure to come as well as any cat who would dare hide from it. The cat's black and white fur shone dully in the foggy light; making his white fur look almost a light gray color. Yet his off-amber orbs seemed brighter without a sun to compare them to.
The multicolored tom sat watching the sky for just another heartbeat, before making the decision to check to borders one last time. At first Badgerrain started at a slow pace, not wanting to seem paranoid, yet once free from the sight of his clanmates the tom took to the trees, and scaled his way through the forest. It was common to find the cats of Skyclan in the trees; jumping with ease from branch to branch. Yet it was slightly uncommon to see a cat angrily charging through the trees. Slipping here and there when it miscalculated a jump or a paw step, and that was exactly what Badgerrain looked like.
Soon enough; the deputy came upon the Thunderclan boarder. The tom cam to a hurtling stop, his orbs scanning the scent border for any change. That when he saw her; the calico was still quite unknown to the tom. For honestly; he could barely remember what the leaders of the clan looked like- let alone the deputies and the medicine cats ( though he would probably be better at it if he actually cared ). Yet Badgerrain was smart enough to notice the scent of herb in the air; and not blindly attack the female before even thinking it through.
Badgerrain leaped down from the tree; landing softly on the ground below. " You! Thunderclan She-cat! What are you doing here?! " the tom growled; knowing full-well that this cat had rights to be on Skyclan land.

Taken by utter surprise, the she-cat jumped a few inches into the air, her fur immediately poofing out at the spine in an instinctive defensive mechanism. She had not realized anyone else was around, having just scented for others. This tom must've not been upwind of her, and she had let her guard down when she spotted the chamomile.
Being as the Clans hadn't been around for a long time, she wasn't familiar with every single face in every enemy Clan. This face, however, she recognized as Badgerrain of SkyClan, the proud deputy of a proud Clan. She tried to hide her unease, knowing he wasn't exactly the nicest cat - at least from what she had seen at the Gatherings.
It was when she dropped her mouthful of herbs that the strong odor of the border's scent smacked her nostrils. Instantly she became embarassed, her skin growing hot underneathe her fur. How had she almost stepped straight into SkyClan territory? What a mouse-brain! It could've ended badly if Badgerrain hadn't stopped her in her tracks.
Feeling suddenly very defensive, the ThunderClan medicine cat lashed her tail and responded with a growl very similar to the tom's. She would hate to have to apologize her way out of this one, being the stubborn character she was.
"What's it look like? I'm gathering herbs," she responded gruffly, nudging the stalks of plant with a forepaw. "I could ask you the same question, seeing as we're both standing on the border."
Probably a bad move, accusing him also, she thought to herself. Medicine cats are supposed to be peaceable aren't they? Ohh well.

Dawnpaw watched the scene from a hiding place in some brambles upwind. She had a talent for memorizing scents and recognized the she cat as Sunpelt, a medicine cat from thunderclan.
