The thick nights now breathed warm and sticky, like honey. The squirrels and mice took to laziness, sleeping away the days in their burrows and spending the slightly cooler nights nibbling on cold blades of grass and blossom heads. Emerald, springy lawns that spread over the territory of the feral cats were dewy every morning and soft underfoot. Furling tendrils and weeds spilled onto paths and the warm air was thick with scents of green plants and plump prey. The golden rays of the sun took no effort to push through the fleecy clouds, that flecked across the deep blue skies. All the Clans were well. It was Greenleaf, and it was glorious.

Windstar padded in, her Clan following in. WindClan msut be the first here, great. She leaped on the Rock, reaching for cracks so she could get to the top. The she-cat leader looked around, her face indifferent. As her eyes traveled over her Clan, a warmth spurt of pride made its way to her heart. They were strong and healthy.
''WindClan is here!'' she announced to StarClan and the night air. Perhaps even some other Clans heard it, if they were nearby. Windstar's eyes made their way to the sky. The full moon was bright, and so were the stars. StarClan, thank you for this blessed night...

Icefern
Icefern excitedly padded into the Gathering-place. She couldn't wait for the Gathering to start! She wondered what the other Clans would have to say. Hopefully not bad news! She thought to herself. The silver and white she-cat sat down near the front of the clearing, a bit close to the rock where the Clan leaders were to announce what what was happening in their Clan. Icefern quietly waited for Riverstar and the rest of RiverClan to arrive; though for now, thought about what might happen this Gathering.

Stormflower padded in. WindClan was already here. The she-cat had padded ahead of ShadowClan. Hopefully Shadowstar wouldn't give her mouth. She sat near the 'Rock, waiting for the rest of her Clan.

Quailfoot happily trailed after Windstar's proud wake, occasionally stopping to taste the air of VenomClanners or foxes. A fight would be a great way to spice up the gathering! The moonlight washed her grayish pelt into pale silver, as Quailfoot resumed her usual post beside a tree that was roped with scarlet wild roses. |

Nettleclaw, ThunderClan's powerful deputy, stepped into the clearing. His sleek deep brown pelt illuminated steely gray in the pallor of the full moon, his leaf-green eyes glowed with pride. The broad-shouldered tom also resumed his spot underneath the roots of an old elm tree, where other deputies met. No scent of any vermin. Thank StarClan. |

Shadowstar lead her clan up to fourtrees, constantly looking back to see if everyone was okay, someone scared of VenomClan attacking, but not willing to show it on her face. Where's Stormflower?! she thought worryingly, not wanting to anything bad to happen to her. Once she had made it up to fourtrees, she saw her blue-furred deputy waiting by the GreatRock for her, "There you are." she meowed calmly, smiling at Stormflower. The Shadowclan leader then climbed up onto the rock, looking out at the other cats, and patiently waiting for the other leaders to come. So far, only Windstar had arrived.

Kestrelstorm bounded confidently towards the gathering of cats, the bright orb above washing his stone-gray pelt a light silver.
The stone-gray dislodged the bits of grass and brambles that caught in his short fur while he ran through the thick forest, occasionally sinking into deep patches of semi-dried mud. Above, the glowing moon rode high into the cloudless, twinkling skies. He lapped the earth from the beds of his paw pads quickly as he also resumed his usual spot. No thoughts in particular. |

Nutbringer strode into the clearing with his head elegantly tilted up with pride and his tail low with confidence. The moonlight shimmered his tabby pelt into dull silver, and his emerald eyes into bright black, like a beetle's shell. He rested in the shadow of the the huge rock of where leaders stood, and waited patiently with his brown tail wrapped around him. |

Skystar
Skystar entered the clearing, inhaling the crisp air of Greenleaf. Her eyes darted around fortrees and she sighed in relief as she saw that BoneClan, and VenomClan had not arrived yet. "SkyClan, follow me!" Skystar mewed, practically dancing into the clearing. Joyfully, she lept onto the rock in the center of the clearing and looked down at all of the cats.
Dawnpaw
Dawnpaw followed Skystar in, gazing all around her in wonder. The orange splotched she-cat split off from SkyClan, looking to find a cat to chat with. "Hello! I'm Dawnpaw, what's your name?" she asked a black apprentice who had her eyes closed. The she-cat reeked of ShadowClan, and as soon as Dawnpaw asked her question, Nightpaw's eyes flew open. Jade green orbs looked at Dawnpaw menacingly.
Nightpaw
Nightpaw's eyes flew open at Dawnpaw's question. "I am Nightpaw, of ShadowClan." she mewed icily, as she inhaled deeply. "And i would guess by the stench you are from SkyClan." The black cat then walked away, and ran into her mentor. 'Get out of my way you flea-bit- Oh, Stormflower. I.. I.. I was just..." she trailed off.
((I'll post with Nightshade, Starstorm, Rosestem, Dusk, Jewel, Sapphire, and Bone in a different post.))

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=style, background-color: dddddd; border: #666666 solid 8px; width: 420px; padding: 15 5 15 5px;]I taught you to fight. What more could there be?
Eveninfall took up the rear in ShadowClan's line, tasting the warm air for Venomclanners. The reddish tom believed that gatherings were pointless and dangerous, but Shadowstar seemed to keep insisting. Sure, it was the will of StarClan, but did StarClan's wish prevent the death of the former WindClan deputy, Morningeyes? Nope. The muscular tom sighed, finally reaching the grassy clearing with only a few bites. From mosquitoes. |

Poppystem happily bounced after Skystar, shoving her nose into every other flower that spilled onto the grassy path that lead to the Fourtrees. But when she reached the edge of ThunderClan's land, Poppystem made sure not to bother any of their plants. The Clans were tense enough. The starlight spilled over her soft pelt, turning it into a moony white. Poppystem trotted over to the thickly fragranced shrub that the medicine cats met during gatherings. |

Bluepaw padded quietly into the clearing and headed to a spot a little removed from the other cats. She scanned the area looking for the slightly familiar faces of her clanmates. Seeing only Icefern, she settled in and wondered where the rest of them were. After scenting the air she noticed Thunderclan wasn't here either. I wonder where everybody is? I wish they'd hurry up and get on with it, she thought as she finally settled down. |

Minnowpaw padded in quietly, both worried and nervous, yet excited. My first Gathering as an apprentice. She thought to herself. The WindClan she-cat padded over to the Great Rock, sitting nearby it. She curiously looked around at the cats here at the Gathering. There were so many new scents! There where a lot of scents in WindClan, but even more here. Her head spun as she tried to memorize every cat in the clearing.

Cherrypaw bounded in the clearing, a bit shy. She sat nervously near Minnowpaw, looking at the sky. The SkyClan apprentice loved summer. The prey, the warmth, the life! The beautiful nights...''Uh, hey,'' she said quietly to Minnowpaw. ''Don't you like summer?''

Icefern glanced up as she noticed Bluepaw walk into the clearing. She wondered where the rest of RiverClan was, though supposed they were still on their way.
Minnowpaw nearly jumped as she heard a voice. Turning around, she spotted another apprentice. Flattening her ruffled fur, the WindClan apprentice mewed; "Hi! I'm Minnowpaw." Pausing a moment, she added; "Greenleaf is nice, though it can be very warm, I've heard." Being only six moons old, this was Minnowpaw's first greenleaf. She had heard others talking of it, however; and shuddered as she thought of how warm it could get. It also stormed a lot during this season, as well.

"Yeah, it is hot," Cherrypaw mewed. She was covered with a thicklayer of sweat. "The humidity is the worst!" she exclaimed.
