(Sorry I couldn't think of a more creative title, I just woke up)
Shadowstar looked outside his den at the ShadowClan camp. The sun was shining brightly, making the grass below it shimmer like soft velvet, gently swaying in the wind. The birds, which had returned from their winter migration, were singing in the distance, their songs luring Shadowstar out into the clearing. She gazed around at the other dens, it was still morning, and only a few cats were awake.
Today would be the perfect day for a ceremony. Shadowstar thought, It would be a great surprise for my clan. She joyfully padded over to the bonerock and hopped onto it, taking another look at her clan. The moment she sat on the lowbranch, she felt an almost unusual feeling of power rush through her body.
"May all cats old enough to catch their own prey gather beneath the bonerock for a ceremony!" Shadowstar yelled.

(Don't worry about it!  Nightkit was snoozing in the nursery when she was awakened by Shadowstar's yowl. She grinned and stretched, happy for the few rays of sunlight that warmed her as she slept. "Finally, my apprentice ceremony!!' she mewed. "After this we can ki-.... I mean congragulate Shadowstar for appointing me such a good mentor." Nightkit always found it hard to contain her excitement and she was lucky that she caught herself before she revealed her true intentions and was discovered for being a traitor and banished ShadowClan. After her relief she padded out of the nursery and plopped down on her haunches. She stared up at Shadowstar and grinned, eager for the ceremony to begin. Meanwhile, on the outskirts of the camp Dusk was hiding in the brambles. He wanted to see his daughter become an apprentice before he returned back to VenomClan for battle training. "This will be Shadowstar's LAST ceremony," he murmered,"At least until she reaches StarClan. Then Nightki-I mean NightPAW will join VenomClan and take over ShadowClan with us..." He trailed of into silence as the ceremony began. |

Acornkit growled angerly. He stomped over to Nightkit and sat beside her. He liked her, and she probaly knew it. He flicked his tail happily as he salw her grin. He frowned unhappily when she didn't even look at him.

Nightkit heard a growl and turned to look beside her. Acornkit was sitting next to her and she saw him frown. "I wonder if he's jealous..." she thought but pushed that thought out of her mind, today was her day. "But...." she murmered and then realized that she should at least try to be friendly. nightkit looked at Acornkit again and grinned.

Acornkit puffed out his chest to look charming towards Nightkit. He really liked her, why can;t she see that? he thought.

Ryewhisker padded out of the warriors' den, full and happy with life. Bunnytail walked gracefully out as well, knowing fully well that Nightkit was about to receive their apprentice ceremony. The white she-cat felt proud as she seated herself down, and waited patiently for Shadowstar to continue.
Ryewhisker could smell a very faint trace of VenomClan among the bushes. For a moment, the tom's brown fur bristled with fury, but then he shrugged it off. I must be imagining it...

"It has come to my attention that Nightkit has reached the age of six moons old," Shadowstar began, "Now is the time for Nightkit to become an apprentice. From this day until your warrior ceremony, you will be known as Nightpaw, and your mentor will be Stormflower. Please touch noses with your new mentor."

Nightkit now known as NightPAW stepped forward to touch noses with her mentor, Stormflower. "I think she'll do for a mentor." she thought. "Now that I'm an apprentice, I can FINALLY help my Daddy kill Shadowstar!!" she chuckled to herself. "You'll be a great mentor!" she mewed to her mentor, "I can't wait to start training!"

Stormflower was usualy good at perceiving other's feelings. Today, however, she felt nothing but joy, blinded by it. She had a new apprentice. Storme was very proud. She ran over to Nightpaw.
''Thank you, Shadowstar! I'm very happy to have you as an apprentice, Nightk- Nightpaw.'' Stormflower touched noses with the kit. ''C'mon! Let's go into the forest for some training!'' Stormflower waited at the entrance.
